Message	the cause of low compression. Could be valves, head gasket, rings, pistons, or a cracked block or head. The test will help isolate. Of course the turbos will need replaced/rebuilt. And as you mentioned a good idea to perform the maintenance items (timing belt, water pump, thermostat, etc). These engines get very expensive fast especially if you have to pay for the labor.
